Safely gathered in

Wool Gathering No 1 took place today - twelve participants, some I already knew and some new faces, all having fun experimenting with dyeing and knitting and spinning, and chatting and drinking coffee - what could be better? Ah, the fact that Hugh had prepared lunch for us all, that's what!- carrot and cardamom soup made with home grown onions and carrots, and had baked a herby bread to go with it. All these enthusiastic textile people aboout makes me feel more confident about the whole Border Tart thing!

I hope you are enjoying your gentle entry into your own blogging spere. (your childhood pictures are darling!)

Waaaah! I knew she was trouble the first day we went to see the pups.

Still need to get this sorted out as there is no way Ash gets to have two blogs. But thank you so much for your support - I am really looking forward to having more time to devote to blogging and to commenting more often on other blogs, and swaps and all the other comfort features there are to this wonderful online world!
